No, the track hasn't gotten any shorter...it's still .25 miles. :-)  What was shorter this week was our workout.  The official workout was to choose either 3 miles at marathon pace, or 1 hard mile, one recovery mile.  But, since we were both feeling a bit blah about our workout we decided to make up our own track drill.  We did sprints.  So, 1/4 mile warm up, 8 sets of sprints for a total of 1 mile and 1/2 mile cool down.  A grand total of 18 minutes running.  Like I said...short.
