So I opted to skip working (or working out) tonight and accepted the invitation to the Election Party. I only knew one person there (the host) and I usually get quiet around people I don't know, but as it turns out I had a really good time. Maybe it was the 3 dogs that put me at ease. :-) I arrived around 7:30 and the most surprising thing was how quickly it all unfolded. I expected it to be a closer contest. We poured the champagne and enjoyed a few toasts...maybe a few too many.
I am completely *disgusted* however that the stupid people of this state I live in have voted to amend our constitution to TAKE AWAY the rights of certain individuals. Yet more justification as to why I like most dogs more than most people.
